My research focuses on polymer- and peptide-based biomaterials for a variety of biomedical applications, including antimicrobials, chemotherapeutic drug delivery, immunotherapy, and cryopreservation. Currently, I am an R&D Scientist at TUNISTRONG Technologies Inc., a company based in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) and the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC). I am the author and co-author of up to 20 peer-reviewed research publications in journals including the International Journal of Pharmaceutics, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Journal of Materials Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, and the European Polymer Journal.
